Google Workspace does offer data regions and Google Forms is one of the covered services, but the only choices are the United States and Europe. Snapforms and Google Forms: common questions
No. Google Workspace data regions cover Google Forms, but the only available locations are the United States and Europe. There is no Australian data region on any Google Workspace plan, so form responses cannot be kept onshore.
Google's infrastructure security is excellent, which is a separate question from data location. If your obligation is that personal information stays in Australia, which is common for government, health and insurance, Google Forms cannot satisfy it regardless of how well secured it is.
Almost always one of four reasons: a payment has to be taken, a signature is required, the form needs to match their own website, or procurement or legal has asked where the data is stored.
